I have been busy setting up class weekly spelling lists and sight word lists as well to allow the kids to hunt down the words in a fun and engaging way. This app not only provides some set lists (along with difficulty levels) but also allows for the creation of your own ‘Home’ lists that you can create yourself. To help with this I came across a new tablet only app (Android, iOS compatible) that the kids have already shown great interest in. A number of kids have made great strides in the last few weeks and months getting through various lists of sight words. Lots of effort is being put in with staff and volunteers to get as many sight words under the kid’s belts so they have the best opportunity to make reading an easier task.
